13.06.01 1:59:18 I was very touched by the article written by I. Georgievskiy concerning the disappearance of professional church choirs in Russian Orthodox churches. Here in America, where paid singers in Orthodox churches are practically nonexistent, we are faced with the disappearnace of good amateur Orthodox church choirs. The problem appears to be universal.
